Huawei Honor 6X landing in India on 24th of January

Honor 6X  - the Huawai's  budget smart phone was released  back in October 2016.

The device is currently available in China , US and Europe  but will be launched in India  on January 24. The company has already sent started sending the invites for the launch event . Invite doesn't explicitly reveal the name of the device name but  the little details they have mentioned about the device and the #SWAGphone used by the Honor India twitter account  clearly confirms that it Honor 6X will be the star of the event .

In the US , the device currently  priced at $249.99  and in UK and Europe , it goes for around £224 and €249  respectively . 

Talking about the specifications the price is full of features for its price tag .This dual sim phone runs on the Kirin 655 Octa-Core processor (4x2.1 GHZ Cortex-A53 & 4x1.7 GHZ Cortex-A53 ) and  Mali-T830MP2  GPU  and is 4G enabled . 
The device features the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 5.5 inch display with the 1920x1080 resolution (~403 ppi density).

Honor 6X has a 12MP +2MP  dual rear shooting camera with phase detection autofocus and a LED flash . The camera can shoot at 1080p with 30fps. The front facing camera is 8MP .

This device runs on the Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow and could be upgraded to the v7.0 Nougat . The device comes in two variants  one with the 32GB od internal storage and 3GB RAM  and the second one comes with the 64GB internal storage and 4GB of RAM . Athough you can expand the storage with the SD card upto 128GB .The phone houses 3340 mAh Non-removable battery and fingerprint scanner also.

All in all this device is quite feature packed and with its slim unibody metal  design , it feels quite premium .It comes in gray, Gold and Silver colors.

APPLE UNVEILED ITS BRAND NEW I-PHONE 7 AND 7 PLUS : Everything you need to know

Say HELLO to the next generation of I-Phone ie IPHONE 7 and 7plus  . Finally Apple has unveiled its brand new iphone with quite many up-gradations as compared to its predecessors . 

Here are the few interesting things you need to know about iphone 7 and 7plus .

1.I-PHONE 7 and 7plus RELEASE DATE

The release date for iphone 7 and 7plus is set to september 16 , in about 28 countries . But you can preorder it now. 
In 30 more countries iphone 7 and 7plus will be available on 30th of september.

In India,  Iphone 7 and 7plus will be available for costumers  starting from FRIDAY OCTOBER 7.

2. DESIGN

   The design of new iphone is quite similar to its predecessors iphone 6 and 6plus. 
The phone is just  sleek as its predecessors and have a same iconic  rounded design with the same frame of 138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1mm frame as the iPhone 6S. It's lighter though at 138g, down from 143g on the 6S.  

The camera bump on the back still remains which could be quite a disappointment for some people .

The new iphone also comes in two new colors as well i.e  glass and aluminium  Jet Black  and  the matte-finish black option . You also get the choice of silver , gold and rose gold. Bad news is that the space grey option is gone.

This time apple comes with the stereo speakers one at the top and other at the bottom  of headset which gives quite clear and louder audio.

3.HEADPHONE JACK REMOVED

   This time the rumors about the the headphone jack of the iphone proved quite true . It's really gone .
But it's really not a matter of worry since the lightning EarPod in the box to connect the regular headphones.But if you are interested in AirPods (APPLE'S first wireless bluetooth earbuds) then you have to spend extra cash.
The airpods have a battery for around 5hrs of listening.these comes with their own case which charges them  while they sit in it.

4. CAMERA

 Iphone 7 features the larger , single lens 12MP rear sensor with the 5MP front-  facing sensor. Meanwhile the larger iphone 7plus comes with the dual-camera  setup. 

This time around the iphone comes with the OIS(Optical Image Stabalization) and a dual tone LED flash .
The wide aperature lens on back provides 50% more light and its faster as well as  30% more energy efficient.

5.  DISPLAY AND BATTERY

Well, there are no changes in the display of iphone this time and company struck to the same screen size and resolution as in 6S.
The 4.7 inch display supports the 1344x750 resolution ,which in turn gives the 326ppi pixel density .However the screen brightness has been raised a bit .

6. OS AND PROCESSOR

 Iphone 7 comes with the IOS10 out of the box.which is quite a tremendous upgrade over previous versions .it introduces a much smarter SIRI with a third 
party apps command.

not just the OS but the processor has also been changed . With its new new four-core ,64bit APPLE FUSION CHIP  Iphone has got quite a good performance boost.

The ram has not been confimed yet but most probably it will be 2GB for iphone 7 and  3GB for 7S .

7. I-PHONE 7 HOME BUTTON

  Well , here comes the interesting part. The home button on the new IPHONE  may look like older ones but it really has got changed. It has gotten pressure sensitive . It features the same technology which comes in new macbook's touchpad .  
   
   

LG'S NEW FLAGSHIP DEVICE V20 LAUCHED TODAY AT SAN-FRANCISCO

After LG's last years little weird  yet successful attempts like  V10 and G5 ,LG is back with their this year's flagship device  LG V20 which is the successor of the last years V10. LG have tried to play a little safe with their device this year without any off the way attempts like modularity or something.But still the V20 seems to be the quite interesting .

The foundation of V20 is not quite different from the LG G5 . It comes with the same SNAPDRAGON 820  with the combination of 4GB  RAM and 64GB ROM.The storage is expandable to 2TB through micro SD-card . 
The camera on the V20 is the same setup that pairs the  8MP wide angle sensor with the 16MP standard sensor .
LG V20 comes with the 5.7inch screen which is fairly large but the phone feels quite compact and fits quite good on hand .Not to mention the similar second screen just like V10  but this time the its larger than before and able to display the longer signatures this time around unlike before.

The battery on LG V20  is a removable 3200MAH  LITHIUM ION battery .A button is provided on the side of the phone to open the metal backcover of the phone. Although it makes quite convenient for the user to switch between batteries but at the same time the phone could not be made water resistant due to removable back cover. 

The finger print sensor is provided at the back of the phone just below the camera where our forefinger usually rests. 

THE LG V20 feels much much premium than earlier devices by LG.

Software wise LG V20 is quite a one of its kind. Its the first phone that comes with the ANDROID 7.0 (nougat)  out of the box.

Besides of the hardware and software , LG has focused a lot on improving the audio and video quality of V20. 
The phone's dual camera array is also helped by three forms of autofocus -laser, phase detection and contrast -- to identify targets even faster in both photos and video. The first impressions of the LG V20 is quite good . Although LG didn't tried to addd some new innovation in their flagship this time around as they did in their G5 ,but still we have to say that LG has done quite phenomenal work .

In the terms of size , the E-KICK  is quite a compact one  and weighs only about 8.5 KG.

The scooter could reach upto 25 kmph  with the electric motor powering its rear wheel .Once charged full the scooter is able to cover the max 12 km . Charging is not a big issue on this scooter as it gets fully charged in about an hour and it could be charged through any of the regular sockets. 

Apart from being a  electrically assisted urban scooter E-KICK offers a various major innovations to optimize  your  ride .

The scooter comes with the "MOTION CONTROL" electrical assistance. Still you have to push it yourself but the scooter optimizes the amount of electrical assistance based on you movements.

Who could have imagined  that the very floor on which we are walking could be used to generate the power to lighten the cities.this very new innovative technology to generate (renewable)power is termed as FOOTFALL HARVESTING.

Well,this this new technology has already been placed in some buidings ,thanks to the effort of the company named PAVEGEN .

Inventor Laurence Kemball-Cook, a 26-year-old industrial design engineer, created a tiled walkway from the West Ham underground station to Olympic Park. The walkway looked ordinary enough, but the tiles were capable of converting the force of people’s footsteps into electricity — more than enough electricity to keep the walkway streetlamps illuminated at full power all night, and at half power during the day.

These tiles are having the sensors which detects the movements over it and simultaneously they convert they produce the same amount of energy from it.

“Every time someone steps on the tile, they generate 7 watts of power,” creator Laurence Kemball-Cook told The Guardian. “The energy is stored within batteries, and then used to power lighting when it’s needed. It’s an off-grid power source for cities.”


The flooring looks quite similar to the regular floors from above but beneath few layers of it there are quite a large circuitry. This technology is quite appealing and environment friendly but its high expenses are coming in its way to get implemented on the large scale .
It costs over $1,600 (1,250 pounds) to cover a square meter with Pavegen.

You may be wondering, how it works??Well , A very thin layer of sensors is installed into the textiles, and radio signals send that data to a central data warehouse.

STAY COOL WITH THESE SELF SHADING WINDOWS

You all must have heard about the automatic tinting in spectacle glasses. This technology grew quite popular as it helped the glass wearers to minimize the damage caused to eyes due to bright sunlight as these glasses automatically darken on exposure to sunlight and return back to normal in dark conditions.

Wouldn't it be great if windows in our houses are also self-shading just ike these glasses. Well , the team of MIT engineers are working on the same project .

These researchers have created a glass infused with a ELECTROCHROMIC material which automatically  undergoes change in the color when to electricity.
This glass can  change from transparent to almost black instantly in response to the electricity .

The material responsible for the color change is a sponge-like metal-organic framework (MOF) that is capable or conducting both electrons and ions at high speeds. When electricity is applied to the window, the window’s changes causing the MOF to react and change color. Once in its black state, the electricity can be turned off, and the window can remain darkened without any further input or manipulation.

Before this also the attempts have been made to create this type of glass but according to the MIT engineers its the most efficient till now as it depends upon just the electricity input and switching is fast.
Till now this idea is just published in the chemistry generals .
