Xiaomi is known for launching the smartphones with the lower price tag but with good specifications . This strategy of the company have seem to be working quite well till now. The company has already crossed the $1 Billion dollar revenue milestone in India which is quite impressive keeping in mind that its just nearly 3 years since company has made its debut in India.
The company has launched many smartphones in Redmi and Mi series . But the Redmi series has done surprisingly well in Indian market. The Redmi series is primarily focuses on the budget oriented smartphone market. The Redmi 3S and the Redmi note has done quite well in the market . Company claims that they have sold over 2.3 million Redmi note 3 devices in last 6 months. Now , the company has decided to launch its successor in Indian market.
Last thursday, Xiaomi has unveiled its latest note series smartphone , Redmi Note 4. Although this device has been launched in the chinese market in August last year with a MediaTek chip but the one launched in India houses a Qualcomm chip. Its a mid ranged device and competes with many other devices in the market.
Will this Redmi note 4 be able to stand upto the company's expectations in the market just like its predecessor Redmi note 3 or will it turn out to be a run-on-a-mill device.

Redmi Note 4
In the terms of the looks , the device is pretty premium just like its predecessor.
On the front there are same capacitive navigation buttons . It also houses a 2.5D curved-edge glass which gives it a premium feel.
At the back there are antenna designs present both at top and bottom. The placement of the finger print scanner , camera and flash are quite similar to that of the Redmi Note 3.
The major change that the design of note 4 has underwent is that the speaker grills are re positioned on the bottom of device unlike at rear in Redmi note 3.
At the bottom there is also a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. At the top there is a 3.5MM headphone jack and a IR blaster. The volume rocker and the power button has been placed at the right and can be easily accessed .
The device is slimmer than its predecessor with 8.3mm of thickness.
The device was launched with the dark grey color in China and Gold . But in India the Grey has been replaced by the matte black color.
